A practical guide to the implementing green and gray infrastructure

This practical guide, developed by Conservation International (CI), provides tools to identify, plan, design, build and monitor gray-green infrastructure projects with the objective of increasing the resilience of vulnerable communities. The proposed tools are based on Conservation International’s field experience in the Philippines and around the world. Gray-green infrastructure combines the conservation and/or restoration of ecosystems with the selective use of conventional engineering approaches in order to promote solutions that increase resilience and adaptation to climate change.
